Axminster stay second in the C Division after big win - Francis Clark Devon League round-up after matchday nine.

Axminster stay second in the C Division of the Francis Clark Devon League at the halfway stage of the season after a whopping 182-run win over Dartington and Totnes with Johnny Hurford slamming another century and Robbie Prior bagging another fivefer.
Seaton stay 11-points clear of the third placed side in the D Division after a thrilling 10-run win at home to Countess Wear with skipper Ben Morgan hitting a half century and both Ben Libby and Alex Hunt claiming three wicket hauls.
Uplyme and Lyme Regis stay in the C Division promotion picture after a two wicket win at Halberton and Sampford Peverell , but no such joy at Acland Park where Feniton remain bottom after a seventh defeat in nine fixtures, this time beaten by six wickets at Ashburton despite a half century from Brian Cann.
Honiton were beaten by three wickets at Shaldon Optimists despite a half century from Tom Strawbridge and a four wicket haul for skipper Adam Holmes.
Whimple were 10-run winners in their E Division meeting with Bridestowe and they are third at the halfway stage of the campaign. Skipper Ben Silk was the star of the show with a top score of 42 which he followed with a fivefer.
Kilmington were nine wicket winners in the East Devon derby with Yarcombe and Stockland with Dave Cook hitting an unbeaten 55, but their was a sixth defeat in eight matches for Upottery in a high scoring affair against Kentisbeare.
Chardstock won a fifth successive F Division match, beating hosts Woodbury by five wickets.
