Uplyme and Lyme Regis were forced to call off their E Division meeting with Tiverton and Bickleigh owing to a rain soaked pitch at Chardstock.

This weekend Ashley Caddy and his side travel to Kentisbeare.

There was action for Uplyme and Lyme Regis II who recorded a marvellous two wicket win in a low scoring affair at Countess Wear II where they bowled the hosts out for 80 and then scraped home with two wickets to spare.

Wallis Blackmore was the star of the show with the ball as he took 5-32.

Wickets continued to tumble when Uplyme took their turn with the bat but a patient 13 from Dave Norris edged them towards victory and it was Paul Compton (12no) and Paddy Barraclough (5no), who were their unbeaten batsmen when the two wicket win was confirmed.

Next up for the side is Saturday’s visit of Kentisbeare II.
