Chardstock skipper Hutchings nets yet another ton

Rob Hutchings struck yet another century in what has proved to be a fruitful summer with the willow for the Chardstock skipper.

Hutching’s 109 was not enough to seal a ninth win of the season as their total of 282-5 was topped by all-conquering table toppers Kingskerswell who won with their last pair at the wicket.

Small consolation for Chardstock is that they got closer than any other F Division team this season to beating the South Devon outfit.

Paul Strawbridge finished with figures of 2-40 for Chardstock who travel to Culmstock this Saturday before completing their season with a trip to Cullompton followed by a home meeting with Woodbury.
