Culmstock CC prepare for a new Tolchards Dveon League season.

Chairman Edward Eames welcomed the meeting and made special mention of the sterling work carried out by Richard Parris on the ground and behind the scenes.

As usual the chairman had been very helpful and would carry on the good work.

In his capacity as treasurer Richard Parris reported a sound financial position but also made mention that the 100 Club could use a few more members, but is still running well.

Captain Rob Hutchings thanked the chairman and treasurer for all their help and praised the ground work of Richard Parris. He also said the club would welcome a few more players this season when Chardstock will competing in Division D East which will mean less travelling.

A grant has been received for new sight screens and practice wicket, both essential items badly needed.

Fixtures start on April 26 and for details on pre-season practise players and prospective players can ring Rob on 01460 221245.

The Culmstock CC annual Jumble Sale and Auction will be held on Friday, March 27, at Chardstock Village Hall at 7pm.
