Axminster’s game at Tavistock fell foul of the weather.

They have just two to play before saying goodbye to the B Division for at least a season.

They travel to Alphington on Saturday and they then host Dartington and Totnes seven days later.

Max Felgate (4-34) and Raul East (3-27) were the Axminster II wicket takers in the Uplyme and Lyme Regis II total of 149.

Sean Perry (32), Dan Bicknell (30), James Farley (24) and John Swain (23no) then all chipped in to see their side to a five wicket win at 150-5.

The Axminster Third eleven were unable to raise a team for their game at Topsham St James II.

On Saturday Axminster II host Feniton II whilst the Axminster III team travel to E Division East title chasing Seaton II.
