Feniton won the Ashfords Indoor League Plate Cup final when they beat Bradninch at the Devon Cricket Centre which is based at Exeter University.

It was very much a family affair with three members of the Cann clan on duty for the Acland Park outfit.

Brian Cann, son Josh and cousin Matt were three of the team who have been playing this indoor 6-a-side season that has run for the past nine weeks.

Bradninch batted first and were restricted to a below-par 89-3 in their 12 overs. Matty Davis (1-18) and Brian Cann (1-7) were the wicket takers whilst the others to bowl were Matt Cann (0-8), Josh Cann (0-12) and Ben Kidson (0-24).

Josh Cann and Matt Cann opened the reply, the latter falling for four and when Josh Cann (18) and Matt Davis (4), fell in quick succession there looked to be work still to do for Feniton. However, skipper Brian Cann (19no) and Ben Kidson (24no) sae their side to a three wicket win with nine deliveries remaining.
