Upottery banked a maximum 20 points with a superb 10-wicket victory at home to Chardstock.
Gavin Churchill struck a superb century for Chardstock, but his 115 was to ultimately be in vain as the rest of the team could only muster 95 between them! Matt Frost, with five wickets for 48, was the chief wicket taker for Upottery who made short work of chasing down a target of 201 for victory, doing so without losing a wicket!
Openers Matthew Button-Smith and Simon Durrant went run for run throughout a double century unbroken first wicket stand that saw the winning line crossed with both batsmen on 85.
Upottery sit fifth, 29 points adrift of second placed Cullompton with six games to play.
On Saturday the villagers travel to a Tiverton side that will start the game one place and one point above them in the D Division Eas table.
