Honiton Cricket club’s Annual General Meeting saw changes at the helm of both 1st and 2nd XIs.

Despite seeing the senior eleven to safety when they looked doomed at one point last season, Adam Holmes decided to stand down.

The committee and members extended their thanks to Holmes for his efforts and his successor in the role will be Rob Ingram.

Tom Strawbridge also decided to step down from the 2nd XI skipper’s role and the reigns have been taken by Kieran Conway who is looking forward to running the side as they prepare for life back in D East.

Conway says: “I’m excited by the challenge and look forward to taking the team forward and continuing to bring through some of the promising youngsters we have at the club.”
