Honiton U14 Netball League

Honiton U14 Netballers had their end-of-season tournament and presentation after a successful league term.

The four teams played each other in a round robin using the new fastNET rules, where shooters can score two points from outside the circle, and each team can pick a ‘power play’ half, where all points are worth double!

Winners of the tournament were Bo-Peeps and YAG were runners-up.

Later, all the girls who participated were presented with certificates and the overall winning team Bo-Peeps, and runners up YAG, were presented with medals.

If you are currently in yrs 7 or 8 and would like to join the league in September, there is a free taster session of coaching and games on Mon, July 12, 7-9pm at Honiton Sports Centre. Contact Jenny Kelly jknetball@tiscali.co.uk or 07967 496168 for more details.
