Kidson takes four as Feniton II are edged out in derby at Uplyme and Lyme Regis II

Feniton II were beaten by 16 runs in a low scoring affair at Uplyme and Lyme Regis II.

The home side batted first and did well to recover to 97 from a perilous 25-6!

Ben Kidson took 4-12 from nine excellent overs and there were two wickets each for Stuart Bright (2-11 in nine) and Dan Clarke (2-16 in 8).

At 45-3 the run chase looked on course, but wickets tumbled, the last one falling on 81 to consign Feniton to defeat.

Don Beer top scored with 17 from the opening berth and Stuart Bright, batting at number eight, was unbeaten on 15 at the close.
