Kilmington went into their final game of the 2015 Tolchards Devon League season requiring just four points from their home meeting with Tiverton to seal the divisional title and they delivered the goods, winning a low scoring affair by five wickets.

Craig Seward took five wickets for just 15 runs as Tiverton were bundled out for a miserly 84. However, just to underline how difficult batting conditions were Kilmington then lost five wickets before crossing the winning line with Brett Garner scoring an unbeaten 30.

Kilmington will now play next season in the C Division East where they will lock horns with the likes of Feniton, Seaton and Axminster, the latter dropping down from the B Division.

Kilmington II ended their season with a glorious 110-run win over D Division East 2nd XI champions Shobrooke Park II and completed the campaign sitting just two points short of the top two places! Sean Perry struck a last-day century, finishing on 112 not out in a total of 190-2.

Shobrooke Park were then bundled out for 81 with Jon Tattershall (3-13) and David Lavender (2-28) amongst the wickets.
