Seaton guaranteed themselves a top four finish in the C Division East when their penultimate game saw them bank 10 points in a rain ruined meeting with Alphington.

Seaton were in a commanding position on 187 for the loss of just three wickets when the rain arrived to wash out any chance of continuing!

Joel Seward continued his excellent season with the bat, top scoring with 47 while both Mark Bray and Steve Pritchard weighed in with knocks of 30.

Seaton go into Saturday’s final game of the league season sitting fourth, a dozen points behind third placed Alphington and 13 ahead of fifth placed Clyst Hydon.
