Seaton enjoyed an excellent day with four wicket wins for both 1st and 2nd XI’s.

The senior side were at Ashburton where they bowled the hosts out for 131 and got home on 132-6, thanks to an unbeaten 68 from Steven Pritchard.

Earlier James Berry (4-44) and skipper Ben Morgan (2-32) had worked in tandem to bundle the hosts out.

Meanwhile the seconds were involved in a similar low scoring affair in the home meeting with Upottery II who they beat thanks to an imperious unbeaten century from John Waterhouse.

It was skipper Ian Hunt who dominated the visitors turn with the bat as he claimed a fivefer, returning the incredible figures of 5-2 as Upottery were bowled out for 148.

Waterhouse then took charge and, when his century was reached the Seaton score board showed 125, such was his dominance of the ball as Seaton went on to win by four wickets.
