Sutton and Aplin cane Cullompton

Seaton under-13s were emphatic winners when they travelled up to Mid Devon to take on Cullompton in a Cup match.

SEATON under-13s made short work of a trip to Cullompton when the sides met in a Somerset County Sports Cup 1st round tie.

Batting first it was Stuart Wight with (17) and Tim Mitchell (13) who got the initial runs before Angus Eaton hit an unbeaten 23 to lead Seaton to a close of 118-5 after their twenty overs.

The Mid Devon side were then blown away fro just 30 in less than a dozen overs as Kersley Sutton claimed 3-9 and Ollie Aplin took 3-12.

Rory Dyer and Ben Goodwin also picked up wickets as Seaton eased their way into the next round of the competition.
