Uplyme and Lyme Regis ease to derby win over Feniton

Uplyme and Lyme Regis won the East Devon derby with Feniton, beating the visiting side by five wickets.

Adam Caddy (52), Ben Whittington (49no), Alex Taylor (25) and Henry Perry (22) were the main contributors to a successful home run chase with victory sealed on 216-5.

This was after they had bowled the visitors out for 212 with Rhys Davis (3-50) and Taylor (3-13), the pick of the home bowlers.

Next up for Uplyme and Lyme Regis who sit joint fifth, just 21 points off second placed Seaton, is a trip to a Countess Wear side who sit one place and two points below them in the table.

Uplyme and Lyme Regis II were six wicket winners at Feniton II where they scored 140-4 in reply to the home total of 139 all out.

Rod Holmes (3-18) and Daley Holmes (3-32) combined to help bowl the home side out and then Tyler Wellman hit an unbeaten 61 and Shannon Grossberg chipped in with 35 as the 2nds cantered home with a dozen overs to spare.
