Uplyme and Lyme Regis made it 15 successive Francis Clark Devon League wins with a three wicket home victory over Kentisbeare.

Neil Price took 5-57 as the Mid Devon side were restricted to 174-9.

Skipper Ashley Caddy then led the run chase with 56.

The two unbeaten batsmen at the close were Harvey Brimmacombe with 31 including the six that got the team over the fishing line, and Richard Holmes with 25.

Skipper Caddy said: “We are playing good cricket just now. What is shining through is a fabulous team spirit and everyone seemingly really enjoying what they are doing.”

Uplyme have an eleven point lead at the top of the E Division and on Saturday they host a Kenn side who have had the weather hit three of their five games so far this term!

Uplyme & Lyme Regis II banked 14 points from an abandoned affair at Kentisbeare II.

Pete Barraclough (55) and Tim Daniel (53) led them to 227-8. Kentisbeare were 138-6 when rain curtailed proceedings. Alex Rattenbury took 3-28.
