Uplyme Under-13s did extremely well to win at Bere Regis for they played throughout one player short.

The hosts, batting first, were 46-4 when Louis Morel was introduced to the attack.

In his first spell of bowling for the team he took five wickets in seven balls including a hat-trick as Bere Regis slumped to 49 all out in 11.2 overs.

Uplyme juggled their batting order to give some of the least experienced batsmen an opportunity. Rob Shepherd and Jake Sweetland failed to score, but Henry Rudkin made the most of the opportunity scoring 11 in a partnership of 40 with Daley Holmes who retired on 25 not out, leaving Uplyme the winners by seven wickets.
