Uplyme and Lyme Regis secretary Eddie Clark, reflecting on the season as a whole said: “The club has to be pleased with the performances of both teams this season which reflects a lot more consistency and strength in depth. The impression is that members have enjoyed the season and club spirit has been good. In a small set up as Uplyme the strength of the club relies on the commitment of the membership and this is engendered by clear and regular communication from the committee , captains and vice captains. There are always issues that need to be addressed to help develop and strengthen the club and the committee will meet on Monday to review the season and set a date for the AGM. This will be the opportunity for members to have their say.”
The Uplyme and Lyme Regis CC Presentation Evening is being held on Friday, September 13 and members wishing to go are asked to contact Derek Wellman.
