Yarcombe were prevented from playing for the fourth time this season when rain saw the cancellation of their F Division game at Cheriton Fitzpaine.

The inactivity for Yarcombe left them slipping to fourth in the table as both Kingskerswell and Culmstock managed to play, and win, and they climbed above James Mitchum’s side who now trail leaders Babbacombe by 24 points.

There’s no action this Saturday for Yarcombe as they are the odd side out and so they are not back in action until, a July 7 home game with Exeter Civil Service.

They’ll hope for better weather by then for, if played, it will be only their third home game this season!
