Members of Axe Valley Pedallers have been out enjoying some winter sunshine as they explored the bridlepaths around East Hill Strip.

It may be a bit chilly at times, but if you wrap up warm and keep those pedals turning, you hardly notice the cold and just as the sun starts to lose its heat, that’s the call to head off to the tearooms!

The Pedallers are active throughout the year and put on at least two rides each club night on Thursday.

Usually one group rides on the road, around the lanes of the Axe Valley, and the mountain bike group often disappears into woodland, bedecked with the bright cycle lights of the latest technology to illuminate the way ahead.

This is a great time of year to develop your fitness, ready for spring and the longer days.
