Docherty and Sharland combine to land American Foursomes victory at Honiton.

American Foursomes was the format for the latest Honiton Mixed Competition with players pleased to be on the main greens after the winter season, writes Andy Wagner.

The winners with a great score of 43 points were Catherine Doherty and Andy Sharland.

In second place were Linda McLaughlin and seniors captain Bob Underwood with 38 points.

Third place was taken by Olwen Eaton and Alex Gosling with 35 points after count back with Ann Trayling and Bob Barnes, also on 35 points, placed fourth.

The prizes were presented by lady captain Pam Greenaway.
