The Honiton Skittle League staged it’s league presentation evening at the Con Club, writes Mark Panizzi.

The evening began with the Chris Binmore Memorial Trophy (for away averages). Thirteen of the top 16 players took part and the Trophy was won by Tom Pettitt of the Drewe Arms.

Food was then served and thanks go to Andy Meacham for organising another excellent spread.

This was followed by the presentation of the trophies by league president, Hedley Hawkins.

The Division Three league top honour and the Division Three Cup were both won by the Sidmouth Arms.

The Division Two league title went to Tuckers B and the Division Two Cup to Drewe Arms.

The Division One League title was lifted by Three Tuns B and the Division One Cup winners were Scruffs.

The Knock-out cup was won by Offwell.

The men’s and ladies’ highest individual away scores were won by husband and wife Charlie and Margi Maher.

The Paul Spiller Memorial Shield for captains was won by Mark Panizzi of Coasters.

The ladies pairs winners were Faye Pye and Lolly Pye with the Open pairs being won by Walter Collins and Wil Tratt.

Last, but certainly not least, the ladies singles was won by Shiela Davenport and the men’s singles by Dave Drew.
