Dunkeswell Bowls Club held their 2016 Awards Luncheon at Lake View Manor.
In a superb turnout, all but one member was present for the handing out of the trophies from a splendid outdoor season.
The trophy winners were: Novice Cup – Jenny Brown, runner-up Gary O’Hara; Two woods – Ron Eames, runner-up Linda Vince; Three woods – Elaine Power, runner-up Ron Eames; Handicap - winner Gary O’Hara, runner-up Jose Williams; Ladies four wood championship
LADIES 4 Wood Championship – Jose Williams, runner-up Linda Vince; Men’s four wood championship – Ron Eames, runner-up Tony Thorne and the Four wood pairs – Ron Eames and Jose Williams, runners-up Elaine Power and Tony Thorne.
Meanwhile, bowling continued as the club with the indoor season now in full swing. The Dunkeswell men compete in the Tuesday League, a weekly competition that is proving to be a challenge!
The usual round of friendly matches are also being played.
