Dunkeswell bowlers have had mixed fortunes in recent matches.
In a friendly meeting with Ottery St Mary, the Dunks lost by 10 shots at 85-75.
The best Dunkeswell rink was the one of Ernie Simmonds, Elaine Power and Jose Williams.
Next up, a trip to Axminster that resulted in a 77-43 reversal. In that match the best rink was Linda Vince, Elaine Power and Frank Brooks.
That was followed by a visit to Ottery St Mary for a fixture on grass that Dunkeswell won 69-56 with the top rink being Iris and Brian Long together with Frank Brooks.
There’s been some encouraging results of late in the Over-60s League with an eight point haul from a 33-31 win over Marina Dawlish, but there was also a 34-31 defeat at the hands of Pinces Gardens, Exeter.
The Over-60s meeting with Phear Park of Exmouth was another that yielded eight points thanks to a 51-24 success and there was a 35-all draw with Chardstock that resulted in four more points being banked.
Dunkeswell are now in the top half of Division Four in the Over-60s League.

Tuesday, July 4 (H) versus Feniton, three mixed rinks with a 2pm start; Saturday, July 8 (A) at Uffculme for a four mixed rink meeting with a 2pm start; Saturday, July 15, (A) at Chardstock, four mixed triples with a 2pm start; Sunday, July 16, (A) at Culm Vale with four mixed triples for a 2.30pm start and Friday, July 28 (H) versus Wellington for a four mixed triples match with a 2.30pm start.
August matches begin with: August 3 (H) versus Honiton, four mixed triples with a 2pm start; Tuesday, August 10, (A) at Hemyock, three mixed rinks with a 2.30pm start; Sunday, August 13, (H) versus Axminster, four mixed triples with a 2pm start; Sunday, August 20 (H) versus Taunton Deane, four mixed triples with a 2pm start; Tuesday, August 24, (A) at Honiton, four missed triples with a 2pm start and Thursday, August 31, (H) versus Chardstock, four mixed triples with a 2pm start.
There is an early September game with a September 2 away game at Chard where four mixed triples will be in action for a 2pm start.
