Dunkeswell bowlers went down in a couple of early season matches.
They met Chard in a contest played on grass and went down 72-45.
Next up they entertained Kingsteignton on the Dunkeswell artificial surface and went down 52-46.
The home game was ‘one that got away’ as the Dunks lost eight shots on the last two ends!
However, there was better news from the Dunkeswell Over-60s men’s team in the Wednesday League enjoyed a good win over visiting Chardstock.
This came after the previous weeks one shot defeat at North Tawton.
