Dunkeswell Bowls Club are now back into a new outdoor season and are holding their annual open day early next month.

Bank Holiday, Monday May 4, sees the Dunks hold the event to which they are hoping lots of folk will get along too.

The club is in urgent need of new members and the Open Day is a great opportunity for people to get along to the club to see just what is on offer.

Tea is being provided on the day at Throgmorton Hall at 4pm, and, prior to that, the bowling green will be available to all comers to try their arm at the noble sport of bowls.

A similar event last year resulted in the club attracting some new members and they hope for similar good fortune this year. They are a very friendly bunch at Dunkeswell Bowls Club and are keen to emphasise that no experience of bowls is necessary. Coaching can be provided for ‘first timers’.
