Honiton Muay Thai fighters and a large contingent of supporters travelled to Barry Island, Wales.
First up was Reece Crudge who has been training for three years at the club. He dominated every round against his opponent from WPT gym Swansea to claim a comfortable victory.
Next into the ring was Gary ‘Rocky’ Davies who was engaged in a tough battle with an opponent from Cardiff.
Despite winning the third round Davies lost a unanimous decision; but he certainly made an impressive debut.
Jasper Tirad took on another local fighter and, after a bruisng encounter, a tired Tirad got the decision by majority verdict and was clearly elated.

The last fighter from Honiton to step through the ropes was Amadeus Sackowicsz for his fourth fight with his previous record showing three wins and a narrow defeat.
His opponent from Eagles gym had previously out pointed Daniel Redoz from FSC Exeter. Sackowicsz was clearly determined to settle the score!
Although his opponent put in a strong performance bloodying the Honiton fighters’ nose in the second round it was evident the longer the fight went on that the six-feet-four Honiton fighter weighing in at 76 kilos, was too hot to handle and he was declared the unanimous winner.
