Eaton edges out Bradshaw in first Honiton ladies meeting of 2015

The first event of 2015 for Honiton ladies was a stableford involving the use of four clubs and a putter, making up a fun competition.

However, the ‘fun’ element of proceedings wore off quickly as the day was hit by wind and rain that took its toll on the players!

Points were hard to find on a course which was unkind to those who strayed from the fairway, something which Silver Division Olwen Eaton and Henrietta Bradshaw managed not to do.

They both came in with 30 stableford points, with Olwen just beating Henrietta on countback.

In the combined Bronze Division’s, Gill Johnson took first place, also scoring 30 stableford points. Catherine Doherty was second with 27, edging out Linda Blundell, who had to settle for third after she too scored 27 and countback was called into play to separate the pair.
