Archant

The last Honiton monthly stableford before Christmas was played in benign conditions, writes Andy Wagner.

There was no run on drives of course, but still nice to be out with friends and, it was a chance to forget about all those presents you still had to buy!

Some took to the course more than others with some bumper scores amongst the winners. Division One was won by Darren England with 39 points, ahead of Ian Atyeo (38), and perennial trier, John Marchant (36).

Division Two proved equally solid with Brian Morrison taking the honours on countback from Andy Wall (another hit and hope merchant) after both registered 39 points.

Third, with a very respectable 38 points, was Andy Morris.
