The Devon and Cornwall pony racing season culminates in the finals at Umberleigh on the last day of the point to point season. The presentations for both the race winners and the Synderborough Farm points championship, the Allerton Organics trophy (new this year for the points winner of the opposite category to the overall winner), and the Alan Walter Horse Transport Trophy will be made in the paddock after the last race and just before the area point to point champions start spraying the crowd with champagne. It would be good to have a bit of a get together and have bit of food and a drink for all parents and children who have been involved this season afterwards, instead of just dashing off. Rebecca Welch is happy to organise things so please get in touch with her to see what to bring, 01803 866654 .Anyone who lives in, and is qualified with a hunt or pony club in the D and C PTP area, and has ridden in a pony race this season, is qualified to enter for the finals. We would love to see two full up races to advertise how fantastic you all are so please send your entry off now to Claire Wright.
