JOSIE Gordon won the Allerton Organics Shield at Umberleigh.

JOSIE Gordon won the Allerton Organics Shield. It is the first time this shield has been presented and it goes to the person with the highest area points tally in the opposite height category to the overall winner of the Synderborough Farm Ltd Rising Stars Trophy. Josie, 16, from north Devon, was the most successful 148 rider on Whinney Widget. She turned 16 during the season and was riding her last pony race at Umberleigh. She is off to the British Racing School in Newmarket in the Autumn and hopefully we will be watching her riding In point to points next season. Josie is pictured with Cheryl Munday and Roy Smith with Whinney Widget.
