Sid and Otter Valley Riding Club junior intermediate team were second at the Riding Club Area Qualifiers held at Stockland Lovel, only two penalties behind the winners.

Lauren Reed (16) on Johann Sebastian, Abigail Hepworth (16) on Milesiangishara, Laura Shillam (17) on Connor IX and Cameron Beer (15) on Centyfield Czaia competed at dressage, showjumping and a very technical, up-to-height cross country course to come second overall. Lamberts Castle team won. Lauren riding Baz, a 15.1hh, 14 year old bay scored 23.2 dressage, one pole down SJ and was the only member of the team clear within the time XC, 27.2 overall, to win the junior intermediate section and qualify for the SEIB National Horse Trials Championships to be held at Aston-le-Walls, Northants, in August, representing the riding club.

All the team are currently competing at BE100 level at British Eventing and are active members of their club.
