With the League coming to a close the tension is building, writes Gareth Thomas.
There are just two previously postponed matches still to be played.
In the latest round of matches Balls Deep extended their lead at the top of the table with a 7-2 win over El Cono.
This, coupled with a 6-3 triumph for Rollers over Yarr Jibbett, means the gap at the top is now eight points.
No Surrender forfeited their game against 7Up and a score of 6-0 has been awarded to 7Up.
The two remaining matches to complete the season are; Rollers versus Baby Sheep and Touching Cloth versus 7Up and the latter could climb to fourth spot with victory.
The matches could also end with a photo finish for first place as the Rollers need an 8-1 victory or better in their final game to snatch the title at the end.
Once the final matches have been played results and the final tables will be posted at every one of the League’s venues.
Table:
Balls Deep 90
Rollers 82
Yar Jibbett 70
El Cono 64
Baby Sheep 60
7 Up 57
Touching Cloth 32
No Surrender 25
