The latest Honiton senior section stableford was played through drizzle and wind on slow greens, writes Andy Wagner.
It did not affect some scores as Angus Falconer recorded a creditable 40 points to head Division One, edging out Keith Lloyd on count back.
Chris Street scored 38 (with two twos) with John Dickinson in fourth spot.
Stan Squire took the last prize with a 36. Brian Morrison is enjoying his purple patch and he won Division Two with 38 points, just beating vice-captain Bill Eaton on the same score. Robert Canterbury, Ashley Murray and Alex Lynn all scored 36, only separated on count back.
Ken Beake had the pleasure of presenting his trophy and other prizes to the top players in the senior’s winter eclectic competition, which was won by Andy Sharland. Someone said something about ITMA. If you do not know what it means you are not old enough to play in the seniors!
