In their final over 60s match the Hawks defeated title contenders Ottery St Mary by 35-29. The winning rink was D Sanders, J Skinner and A Smith 19-8. The Falcons finished top of division 7 winning by 5 points.
The mixed team had two friendly matches, firstly against Bitton Park which they won by 89-70. The winning rinks were Jan Holmes, P Bright, M Whitcombe and G Phillips 24-11; T Cox, V Murdoch, R Lovering and B Cann 28-20; G Osborne, L Ley, John Holmes and K Lovering 16-15.
This was followed by a win against Axminster by 56-48. The winning rinks were G Osborne, A Morgan and T Cox 23-11 and Jan Holmes, D Downs and R Clarke 28-20.
