Feniton bowlers edge to nail-biting victory

Feniton had mixed success in the second round of the Men's County Trophy .

Feniton had mixed success in the second round of the Men's County Trophy competition, winning two rinks but also losing two rinks and thereby losing overall to Seaton by 89-69. The winning rinks were: R Cooke, R Clarke, I Veitch and K Lovering 20-15; A Godfrey, J Livings, R North and R Arundell 26-18.The Wednesday Men's over 60s triples matches fell victim to the weather.On Thursday evening, Feniton edged to a nail-biting victory in the first round of the Foxlands competition beating Chardstock by 38-37. The winning rink was I Veitch, A Williams, M Chipperfield and A Kury 23-19.
