Feniton Bowling Club experienced mixed fortunes in their latest league and friendly outings.
The Hawks continued their recent revival in the men's over-60s league with a 28-27 win at Pinces Gardens, as P Eels, J Skinner and A Smith came out on top 17-9 on their rink.
But the Eagles lost on both rinks as they went down 50-21 at home to Morchard Bishop.
The ladies lost their Triple League match to Okehampton, 41-25, as J Hoffman, V Murdoch and D Phillips had a 19-16 rink win.
But the East of Exe League mixed team won 70-67 at Hemyock, with P Eels, D Bowden, A Murdoch and B Cann (19-15), Jan Holmes, R Crowe-Swords, John Holmes and K Lovering (20-16) and V Murdoch, R Hoffman, J Skinner and D Phillips (17-16) winning rinks.
The mixed team lost 48-43 at Seaton in a friendly, with R Hoffman, J Smith and D Coye (20-14) their only winners, but D Sanders and T Cox won the section 3 final in the Devon Unbadged pairs 22-20.
