It has been a week of mixed success for the players at Feniton Bowls Club, as they lost narrowly in a couple of local derby fixtures but did get some revenge with a dominant friendly fixture success.

The Hawks narrowly lost on both rinks to Culm Vale by six shots and the Eagles also narrowly went down to Madeira C, losing a terrific match by 32-31. The winning rink for Feniton was R Lovering, M Whitcombe and R Clarke 23-12

The Feniton mixed team did bring some cheer, as they won a friendly against Culm Vale by 65-49. The winning rinks were D Sanders, G Phillips and A Kury 27-8, and T Cox, J livings and R Clarke 16-11.

Finally, in the Foxlands Trophy competition, Feniton men lost out to Ottery St Mary. The winning rink was R Lovering, B Cann, R Cooke and K Lovering 27-15.
