Feniton make hard work of seeing off Clyst Valley

Feniton 3, Clyst Valley 1 Despite not being at their fluent best Feniton still managed to secure three more points to maintain their impressive start to their Fresha league title defence.

They made hard work of overcoming strugglers Clyst Valley, but had the job done by full-time thanks to goals from Paul Dowling, Ben Ede and Richard Austin.

The win keeps the Blues tucked in behind the top two, Newtown and St Martins, both also unbeaten, in what looks set to be one of the closest fought Fresha League title races for many years.

On Saturday Mark Kingdom and his men turn their attention to the Graddon Vending Devon Premier Cup and a trip to Hideaway Café.

The delightfully names opposition currently sit third bottom of the Plymouth and West Devon league Division One with seven points from their eight league games to date.
