The Feniton Bowls Club men’s team success in the Top Club competition came to an end in their section 3 final against Madeira.
The match was a very close run and exciting match, Feniton losing by two rinks to three. The winning rinks were two wood singles P Eels 21-10 and four wood singles K Lovering 21-8. Sadly, the pair of R Lovering and R Cooke lost on the last end by18-19
In the men’s over 60s triples league, the Eagles returned to winning ways, defeating Axminster by 36-33. The winning rink was D Conbeer, L Ley and R Clarke 23-13. The Hawks lost on both rinks away to Ottery St Mary.
In the East of Exe mixed league, Feniton lost to Ottery St Mary by 50-60. The winning rinks were T Cox, J Luffman P Bright and J Skinner 16-10, and P Eels, P Hoffman, R Lovering and R Cooke 16-13.
