Feniton teams enjoy Over-60s Triples League success

Feniton enjoyed a convincing win against Honiton in the Two Counties League winning on all rinks by 81-66, writes Roger Smith.

The winning rinks were A Coyne, A Morgan, I Veitch and A Evans (21-14), T Cox, J Skinner, R Veitch and D Coyne, R Lovering, E Cox, S Kury and A Kury (22-19) and J Smith, D Phillips, R Smith and K Lovering (19-18).

Both the A team and the B team enjoyed success in their respective Over-60s Triples League matches.

The A team defeated Exeter St Thomas A 42-19 with the winning rink being; E Cox, R North and J Skinner (29-14).

The B team defeated Ottery St Mary B 40-23 and here the winning rink was C Maynard, A Morgan and D Conbeer (23-4).

Meanwhile the Feniton ladies lost their NBTL match against St Thomas 55-15, but the mixed team enjoyed a good win away on Dunkeswell’s all-weather green by 62-53.

The winning rink was D Bowden, J Wheatley, M Evans and A Kury (31-11).
