Feniton Under-12s left it late to finally see off visiting Twyford Gladiators 4-1, scoring three times in the last 10 minutes.
Gladiators were the better side before the break and led 1-0 at half-time.That advantage would have been greater had it been for some terrific saves by Feniton glovesman Arthur Hattan.
In the second half Josh Townsend levelled things up before, with the clock ticking down, Connor Brooks scored the goal which lifted the home side an deflated the visitors! Oliver Bunkum and Jude Levi scored the other Feniton goals.
Feniton coach Mark Townsend said: “We got there eventually! They (Gladiators) were certainly the better side in the first half. We worked hard to get back into it and you could see the difference the third goal of the game made. It gave us a huge life and deflated them allowing us to go on and bag a win that was not quite as straight forward as a three goal difference suggests!”
