Feniton Under-13s were 5-3 winners when they entertained Sidmouth Raiders in an Exeter and District Youth League Division Two meeting.

In a terrific encounter, Feniton led 3-1, were pegged back at 3-3, and then scored twice more to deservedly bank the points. Treve Harris, Ben Kennel, who scored direct from a corner and Luke Nicklin, with a 25-yard lobbed shot, were the scorers of the first three Feniton goals. Then, after a Raiders fight back, the lead was restored when a Harris strike hit the post and came back to Thomas Kirsch who slammed the ball home from close range. A superb 20-yard strike from Josh Warren put the icing on a terrific all-round Feniton performance.

The winners, with a number of players missing, were forced to field a make-shift back four, but Seb Marlow, Alfie Siggers, Ben Kennel and Oliver Grimshaw gelled together very well and provide a good solid base from which the team were able to eventually bank another three points. However, as good as the back four were, the stand-out shift from a Feniton player came from Fraser Moran who was terrific in the centre of midfield.
