Feniton Under-14s came out on top in a very competitive contest against a determined Heavitree side when then pair met in the Exeter and District Youth League.
A cagey first half was without a goal until the Heavies took the lead a minute before the break. Feniton, playing in the teeth of a biting wind, levelled when Wilf
McNeilige crossed for Sam Ayres to apply a clinical finish from six-yards.
The leveller began a period of momentum build that ended with a Chris Badcott
through ball that enabled Ayres to slot the winner with a cool finish. Whilst the plaudits will go to Ayres for his two goals the best player on the pitch was James Woodward who ran the midfield from start to finish.
