Feniton Under-14s put team manager Tony Badcott through all sorts of emotions in a contest of eleven goals against Brixington Blues that ended with the Exmouth side 6-5 winners.

When these two sides have met previously through the age groups there has been excitement and goals aplenty and this latest meeting was no exception!

The teams each scored three times in a thrilling first half and, after the break, the visitors added another three whilst the home side could only muster two.

Boss Badcott said: “It was an extraordinary game. They (Blies) quite literally only had the half-a-dozen shots, but my, how they despatched them! At the other end we seemed to fashion chances at will. However, as this game so often shows. If you don’t take your chances you don’t win. That said the five goals we scored were of the highest quality. They really were as good as we have netted all season.”

Christian Whales (3), Chris Badcott and James Woodward netted for Feniton.
