Feniton are effectively Exeter and District Youth League Under-15 Division Two champions with two games to go owing to their superior goal difference after they defeated Brixington United 5-2.
However, before they could enjoy the fruits of a 16th straight win, the Feniton youngsters had to do something they’ve not had to do all season – come back from two goals down!
The home side scored twice before Fenny got their act together, but once right Hayden Tucker halved the deficit it all became relative plain-sailing and a strike from Oscar Walsh sent the sides into the break all square. A second half double from Gareth Blackmore and a second from Walsh rounded off the scoring.
Theo Bray and James Woodman both had outstanding games for Fenny.
