The Feniton Bowls Club Winter League competitions have been played to a conclusion, writes Roger Smith.

The skittles league was won by The Feniwhimps comprising of Alan and Gill Smith, Phil and Sally Spreadbury, Wally and Penny Gray and John Dibble.

The knockout Olympic Skittles was won by The Dirty Devils made up of Andrew and Judy Evans, David and Joan Evans and Don Conbeer, who defeated the Odd Bunch in a very close final.

The winner of the Reg Parish singles skittles competition was Richard North. The highest men’s score for the league season was won by Graham Phillips (67).The highest ladies score was Sally Spreadbury (48).

The Vic Skinner Pool Competition was won by John Livings who defeated Roger Clarke by two frames to one.

The short mat bowls competition was won by Tony Kury, Avril Coyne and John Wheatley.

The Club always welcomes new members, established players, beginners or juniors.

Beginners will be given free coaching to make them sufficiently proficient to play in matches.

Monday is a roll up night and gives new members a chance for informal practice and the opportunity to meet other players outside of match situations.
