Personal trainer Max Richards will embark on an incredible 24-hour gym session on Monday, May 24 to raise money for the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital after a traumatic year fighting against Covid-19.
Known as the Fitness Goose, Max initially set himself the epic challenge in January but was forced to delay due to the lockdown restrictions on the use of gyms.
As we now head out of the constraints placed on society by the pandemic, Max is determined to finish the job.
“The event will start at 18:00 at PureGym, Exeter Fore Street and will be split into rowing, cycling and running for 24 hours,” he said.
“The challenge will be 19 minutes on the hour, every hour, but if I raise £500 before the day, this will increase to 30 minutes on 30 minutes off – that’s 12 hours of exercise in 24 hours.”
