Another full week of fixtures and once again there was a lot of movement in the table. OPG became the fourth team to occupy the number one spot whilst both Flamingos and Uplowman jumped three places up the table whilst Bo-Peeps were the biggest climbers moving off the bottom to go into seventh place, writes Graham Ingram.

With Denise Meyers in good attacking form OPG soon reduced their deficit start against Hi Q and were level at quarter time. Hi Q worked really hard and with Stacey Salter doing well they were always in the game and Flamingos ended the game with a close 32-28 win.

With Sonia Yorke playing well for Flamingos they came back from being 12-6 down at quarter time to end the game with a fine 32-22 win. Uplowman continued their climb up the table thanks to a 43-34 win over Howden Hawks. The first two quarters were close with Uplowman just 23-22 ahead at half way. In the third period Emma Burrough played very well and Uplowman started the final session 36-27 in front. Sue Merrett would not let Hawks give up the fight and the last quarter was nip and tuck with the final whistle showing a 43-34 win for Uplowman.

Once again Poppy Williams had a splendid game for Bo-Peeps whilst Emma Griffin played well for Pixies in the game that ended with a 41-27 victory for the Peeps and a big jump up the table.
