Honiton seniors had to contend with a blustery wind last Friday when they played their February stableford plus the Winter Eclectic, writes Andy Wagner.

Scoring wasn’t spectacular, but the divisional winners were mighty close!

In Division One John Fleetwood with 36 edged out Jim Wallis who also scored 36 and there were three players, Mike Ward, Dave Morgan and Dave Maggs, all with scores of 35.

It was equally close in Division Two which was won by Peter Blake with 37. Steve Blundell edged out Howard Pritchard with both players scoring 36 and close behind were Ben Phillips (35) and Bill Eaton (34).

There were three twos; Norman Runciman on the second, Bill Eaton on the 10th and David Hughes on the 12th.
